NPD Engineer,

In these highly competitive times everyone is extremely busy, making it difficult to find time to step back and look at how things are being done. At the same time a team that is to approach execution excellence must devote the critical time necessary to define a roadmap and strategy for improving their design processes. We have a solution to kick start the thought process and generate immediate concepts that a design team can implement on their projects thus enabling predictable and productive project execution.

Please read on to learn about an 8 hour investment that will yield a newfound understanding of the path to execution excellence - A one day workshop at your site, with your actual team, specifically developing enhancements to the teams development processes.

"Change nothing and nothing changes"

This workshop makes an excellent kickoff to a process renewal effort.

More About this Change Enabling Workshop
Many IC design project teams find themselves struggling with unexpected delays to their production plan. Intense time to market pressures demands an environment that prescribes improvement to both the predictability and length of design timelines. This workshop specifically targets those essential improvements by presenting additional, thought provoking concepts that will enhance the predictable nature of your IC design team.

Emphasis will be on enriching the IC design process a team uses by means of a revitalizing design management perspective. Participants should have an open mind, be willing to listen/talk, share design experiences and frustrations and participate in discussing ideas about doing things differently. This workshop takes a refreshing journey beyond the routine CAD and tool flow activities of design thus opening the door to possibilities for change in the way a design project is managed.

Your team will be learning together through analysis exercises for the teams existing development process. They will be discovering the areas in their development flow that are not working and will uncover solutions, as a fully cross-functional team. This workshop gets them started on a path to improvements that they are prepared to continue, upon return to their regular duties.

For your reference the full spectrum of design activities that must be managed are identified in the graphic below (Click on image for larger view). Checked items will be specifically addressed in this workshop.
